A 1/2 inch hub size defines this Type C conduit body made of grayloy-iron, featuring a Form 7 design. It supports rigid steel, rigid aluminum conduit, and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). The unit has a flat back for stability and greater cubic content, which allows easier wire pulling and more space for splicing. Triple-coat finish includes zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat for corrosion resistance. Tapered female threaded connections provide tight, rigid joints and maintain excellent ground continuity. Integral smooth, rounded bushings protect conductor insulation during installation. The conduit body is compatible with Crouse-Hinds Form 7 bodies, gaskets, and covers, matching installation dimensions. Hub size, body style, and wiring capacity (4 cubic inches per NEC 314.16(A)) are molded into the body for easy identification.
