A 3 inch trade size makes this split coupling suitable for connecting threaded rigid and IMC conduit sections. The malleable iron body includes a neoprene gasket to ensure a concrete-tight seal. Steel hardware provides durable fastening. Installation involves slipping the bolt-on coupling over the threaded end of one conduit section, butting the second conduit end to the first, centering the coupling over the threads, and tightening the bolts for a secure connection. This method facilitates fast assembly in tight conduit spacing or irregular bends where unions might be difficult or costly. Certified to UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18.4, and compliant with NEMA FB-1 standards, the coupling supports safe and reliable conduit connections. The overall length is 5 inches with a 4 inch outside diameter.
