A 1/2 inch hub size grayloy-iron conduit outlet body with Form 7 style, tapered female threaded connection, and smooth integral bushings.
Grayloy-iron material forms this Form 7 conduit outlet body with a 1/2 inch hub size suited for rigid steel, rigid aluminum conduit, and IMC installations. It features a tapered female threaded connection for tight, rigid joints and improved ground continuity. The gray triple-coat finish includes zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat for corrosion resistance. Smooth rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation while providing easy conduit joining. With a flat back design, it fits flush against flat surfaces, offering greater cubic capacity for easier wire pulling and splicing. The body includes molded hub size, wiring capacity, and compliance data. Wiring capacity is 6 cubic inches according to NEC 314.16(A). This conduit outlet body is UL 514A, UL 514B, and CSA C22.2 No. 18.3 listed, meeting NEMA FB-1 standards. It is compatible and interchangeable with equivalent Crouse-Hinds Form 7 bodies, gaskets, and covers.
