Mechanical grounding connector made from high copper alloy for rods sized 2-1/2 to 2-7/8 inches and conductors from 4 to 2/0 AWG.

Copper alloy cast body offers durability for grounding applications involving rods between 2-1/2 and 2-7/8 inches in diameter. Suitable for joining two parallel copper cables ranging from 4 AWG to 2/0 AWG conductor sizes, the connector supports secure grounding connections. Durium U-bolts, nuts, and lockwashers included with the assembly ensure a reliable mechanical connection. Its design accommodates burial in ground or concrete, making it appropriate for direct burial installations. The connector holds a UL467 listing and requires an installation torque of 240 inch-pounds. Dimensions measure approximately 5 inches in height and 4-1/4 inches in width, allowing for straightforward one-wrench installation in compatible grounding setups.
