Rated for use with threaded metal conduit, this Appleton Electric outlet box measures 5 inches on each side and weighs 2.76 pounds. It includes four 3/4 inch tapped openings and two close-up plugs to accommodate cable entry and conduit runs. The box is made from malleable iron and meets UL 514A and NEMA FB-1 standards. Internal ground screw and mounting lugs are included for secure installation. Blind cover screw holes reduce conductor damage risk and enhance water-tightness when gasketed with hub or blank covers. Suitable for pulling fittings, splicing, and making straight or 90 degree bends, it provides access to conductors for maintenance. Mounting holes have a diameter of 0.31 inches for attachment.
