No cutting on frame required. Simply remove existing plate, adjust vertical alignment feature to latchbolt centerline and install. Its strength derived keeper pin locking design, enabling exceed ratings of frame, door hardware. This easy install complies NFPA 80-07 guidelines retrofit into fire-rated frames. accommodates latchbolts up 5/8' throw.
