Applications:
Aluminum SEU cable is primarily used as panel feeder in multiple unit dwellings and for branch circuits. Maximum operating temperature is not to exceed 90°C in wet locations. Voltage rating is 600 volts.
Construction:
Conductor - Aluminum SEU cable has a compact strand soft drawn 8000 series aluminum conductor, per ASTM B-801
Insulation - Aluminum SEU cable has a type XHHW-2 cross linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation. The conductors are cabled together with an aluminum alloy concentric neutral and covered with a reinforced binder tape.
Jacket - Aluminum SEU cable has a gray sunlight resistance polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket.
