1590 MCM Coreopsis AAC Bare Aluminum Conductor
Application:
This wire is suitable for use in spans on wood poles, transmission towers, and other structures where high tensile strength not required. Applications range from extra voltage (EHV) lines to sub-service at distribution or utilization voltages private premises.
AAC (all conductor) the most economical overhead conductor due its lighter weight. It offers easier handling during installation of simpler fittings. corrosion resistant homogeneous construction.

alloy wires wrapped helically around a central wire. Each successive layer has six more than previous underlying layer. Outer right hand reversed layers.
