This 1/0 MV-105 power cable features Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulation with a Black Polyvinylchloride (PVC) sunlight-resistant jacket. It includes a copper tape shield and provides 133% insulation at 25kV and 100% insulation at 35kV voltage ratings.
The cable uses Class B stranded, annealed bare copper conductors per ASTM B-3 standards, with a semi-conducting thermoset insulation shield and a helically applied 5 mil uncoated copper tape shield. It meets UL 1072 and ICEA S-93-639 standards for medium voltage power cables.
Rated for 215 amps in duct and 290 amps in air, this cable is suitable for installations in open air, conduit, duct, or direct burial. It can be used in wet or dry locations including chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, substations, and generating stations.
