The IVB-EOC202 is a RJ45 to BNC port converter which supports long range power supply transmission via coaxial cable. The receiver/ transmitter package provides one BNC coaxial port and one RJ45 port and pairs with our IVB-EOC 102 converter for ePOE support. The unit is equipped with 100Mbps and 10Mbps transmission modes and can be modified depending on the transmission distance.
Features
Plug 'N' Play Coax/Bnc To IP/PoE Conversion
IC Realtime's new IVB-EOC-202 is a pair of conversion baluns that adapt existing or newly installed Coax/BNC video cables to carry IP camera feeds and Power over Ethernet (PoE) at distances up to 2 miles. That's right - up to two miles!
The EOC-202 is the easiest plug-n-play way to use a PoE-powered IP camera using a standard BNC/coax camera line. Plug one in at the NVR/switch side between the CAT5 and the BNC and use the second unit to convert back to RJ-45 ethernet & PoE connection at the camera end.
One Set Per Camera Line
We are introducing the easiest thing you will do on any installation. This simple 2 unit kit converts a BNC/coax analog camera to run directly to an IP camera and NVR by transmitting both the data signals and PoE power over the coax and converting back to an RJ-45 at the camera. This pair of EOC-202s makes for a quick, plug-n-play BNC to IP conversion.
Don't Sweat Long Runs Or High PoE
High PoE power requirements or long distances are no problem either since this pair handles 100Mbs of IP video stream and up to 25 watts of PoE power at 300 feet when you use a 56V DC PoE injector/adapter at the NVR end.
Even at the maximum 1000 meter (2 mile) range, the EOC-202 will still deliver 6 watts at a still impressive 10Mbs stream rate! That's enough to easily power & provide video from all our megapixel bullet & dome IP cameras.
For example, our popular 8-megapixel IPEL-E80F-IRW2 turret dome only draws 3.3w of PoE power and needs only a max of 8.2Mbps, so even at an impressive 8MP the E80F would be an easy plug-n-play coax to IP conversion.
The Only Coax To IP Conversion Gear You Will Ever Need
If you have an existing coax wire video system that needs upgrading to IP, choose your cameras & NVR and get a pair of these for each camera line. Installation couldn't be easier, and the converters can be added at the NVR, PoE switch, camera, or anywhere in between. No matter what size your next IP conversion job is, call it DONE with IVB-EOC-202.
