The BOSS OC-5 Super Octave Pedal offers mono and polyphonic octave effects with octave down and up modes. It produces notes one and two octaves down, featuring a range knob for note tracking. The pedal includes a bass/guitar switch for instrument tuning and a direct output for isolated octavized tones. It provides a 1/4" instrument I/O path for traditional setups. Key features include a vintage mode replicating the OC-2 sound with improved tracking, a poly mode for chord playing with range knob adjustment, and an octave-up effect for 12-string guitar-like sounds. The pedal uses real-time processing technology for high-performance octave effects.
