The Bass Preacher from Electro-Harmonix is a compressor/sustainer pedal designed for electric bass. It features dynamic control with up to 21 dB of gain reduction, allowing for subtle or extreme compression. The pedal includes a sustain knob, attack switch, and volume knob for adjusting compression, sustain, and makeup gain. It has a true bypass circuitry, input sensitivity range from -10 to +2 dBu, and works with both active and passive basses. The pedal also functions well with guitar. It measures 4.5 x 2.8 x 2.1" and includes a 9V battery.
