Corning MIC® armored plenum cables are designed use riser and general purpose environments intrabuilding backbone horizontal installations. These multifiber individually jacketed 900 µm buffered fibers enabling easy, consistent stripping facilitating termination. grouped into subunits surrounded a dielectric central member. core is protected flexible, spirally wrapped, aluminum armor that offers one-step installation up seven times crush protection of unarmored cables. With flame-retardant outer jacket, this cable particularly useful heavy traffic or more challenging mechanical exposure conditions applications requiring extra rugged cables.
