Once added to the system, intelligent video analytics are bundled into VideoEdge NVRs and integrated with victor VMS software to greatly improve operational efficiency and decision-making data. By simply allocating an analytics license to a camera, the NVR will immediately begin collecting behavioral metadata that can be leveraged for reporting key performance indicators and trigger real-time alarms. Additional tools that help with both live streaming and forensic search include smart streaming and smart search. Smart streaming reduces client hardware requirements while viewing more cameras simultaneously without increasing bandwidth usage.
