The Computar H16Z7516AMS is a 7.5-120mm (16x) motorized zoom lens featuring 1/2-inch image sensor format, C-mount design, iris, and neutral density (spot) filter.
The Filter reflective type (wavelength independent), Density, radial, gradient filter. It deposited on glass surface that located coplanar to the optical stop (at iris blade location). allows rapid light-sensitivity adjustment. Light passes thru from center which fairly dark edges where phases out 100% clear. So, if blades move just little bit, you greatly impact overall level lens.
Motorized lenses can be purchased without filter, but there no price difference. Almost all of our customers want once they understand what does. only times we have seen not motorized-iris lens when application light-starved begin with.
Computar provide remote control length, focus through use an optional controller, for variable length are required. ideal applications requiring long distance surveillance in parking lots, highways, etc.
