The ComNet FVT8018M1SHR of optical links provides eight 10-bit digital medium haul quality, and channels a 'Dual Port' (DOP) Self-Healing Ring (SHR) topology. Up to multiple receivers can be 'Daisy Chained' on one fiber. The topology using Dual Ports provide fail safe operation in event loss fiber or module. Each port uses wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) both transmit receive support RS232, RS422 2 wire 4 RS485. Plug-and-play design ensures ease installation no electrical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators provided for confirming operating status. These units interchangeable between stand-alone card mount configurations.
