Single Sided Illuminated Area of Rescue Assistance Sign. The SI004 Illuminated Area of Rescue Signs provide indication for Area of Rescue locations. The signs comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and are intended to be used in conjunction with Alpha Communications® / TekTone NC150R Area of Rescue Systems, AlphaRefuge™ Systems (or equivalents systems by others).
The signs provide visual directions to areas where people who require assistance in evacuating a building can go to await assistance. The SI004 is a single-sided back-lit sign unit, having back-lit signs on both the front and the back.
- Meets ADA requirements (check local codes for additional requirements)
- Text is White on a contrasting Blue background, and illuminated by low power, long lasting Red LEDs
- Each directional arrow (right and left) can be individually knocked out in the field
- Sign is equipped with two (2) movable battery-powered emergency backup lights
- Up to 90 minutes battery run-time
