The MS1861-01-603-IB from Rite is a bottom rail deadlock with 2-1/4" backset in zinc plated steel. The series provides locking ultra-narrow stile or tempered glass doors. It functions for of doors whose (shoe) too shallow MS1861 Deadbolt. Its mechanism similar to that MS1850A Deadlock, but bolt size reduced. This keeps threshold strike opening practical minimum, avoiding collection debris snagging on high-heeled shoes. Armor faceplate protects cylinder setscrews tampering and them loosening. operates such 360 degree turn key thumb throws retracts counterbalanced bolt. can be removed only when positively locked unlocked position. not applicable wood doors.
