Rated for use with rigid steel, rigid aluminum conduit, IMC, and EMT, this Type LL conduit outlet body offers 35 cubic inches of wiring space per NEC 314.16(A). Its pressure cast aluminum construction is finished with an epoxy powder coat to resist corrosion. The 1-1/2 inch hubs have accurately tapped tapered female threads that provide tight, rigid joints and strong ground continuity. Smooth, rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation during pulling and installation. Form 85 copper-free aluminum ensures a lightweight unit that resists oxidation and supports ease of handling and installation. The flat-back design is suitable for mounting flush against surfaces. Internal volume and wire capacity are marked clearly on the casting for convenience. Threaded connections maintain a raintight seal when paired with casketed covers.
