Measuring 6.69 inches long, 1.81 inches wide, and 1.88 inches high, this conduit outlet body fits 1-inch EMT conduit. It has a Form 85 configuration and is made from pressure cast aluminum with a corrosion-resistant epoxy powder coat finish. Its set-screw connection uses a slotted hex head steel hardened cup-point screw to secure EMT conduit. The outlet body serves as a pulling fitting and provides an opening for splicing, branch runs, and maintenance access. Smooth, rounded integral bushings help protect conductor insulation during installation. Its roomy interior offers 11.8 cubic inches of wiring space, clearly marked on the casting to comply with NEC 314.16(A). Copperfree aluminum construction provides resistance to corrosion and oxidation while remaining lightweight for easier handling. The flat-back design is compatible with mounting the fitting flush against surfaces. Certified to UL 514A, UL 514B, and CSA standards, this fitting meets industry safety and performance requirements.
