Epoxy powder coated pressure cast aluminum forms the enclosure of this Type LR conduit outlet body. It features a 3/4 inch hub size with tapered female threads for secure conduit connections. Form 85 copperfree aluminum ensures high corrosion resistance while remaining lightweight for easier handling. With a roomy 70 cubic inch interior capacity, the outlet body provides ample space for wiring and splicing. Smooth, rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation during installation and maintenance. Accurately tapped, tapered threads allow tight, rigid joints and maintain excellent ground continuity. Applications include use with rigid steel, rigid aluminum conduit, intermediate metal conduit (IMC), and electrical metallic tubing (EMT). The flat-back design facilitates mounting against surfaces where required. It meets UL 514A, UL 514B, CSA, and NEMA standards for safety and performance. Measuring 5.13 inches in length and 2-1/4 inches in width, this outlet body serves as a conduit pulling fitting, provides bends, and offers access points for splicing and branch runs within conduit systems.
