Gray color and triple-coat finish combine zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat for corrosion resistance. Grayloy iron material offers durability for conduit systems. The 2 inch hub size and Form 7 body style allow for connections with rigid steel, rigid aluminum conduit, and IMC. Tapered female threaded connections ensure tight, rigid joints and maintain ground continuity. Smooth, rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation, while the flat back design increases cubic content and fits flush against flat surfaces for stable installation. The outlet body permits conduit bends, splicing openings, branch connections, and access for maintenance. Wiring capacity is 50 cubic inches according to NEC 314.16(A).
