Grayloy-iron material combined with a triple-coat finish of zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder provides corrosion resistance in conduit systems. The Type LB conduit body has a 1 inch hub size with tapered female threaded connections, ensuring tight and rigid joints while maintaining excellent ground continuity. Its flat back design maximizes cubic content for easier wire pulling and more room for splicing. Smooth, rounded integral bushings protect conductor insulation during pulling and maintenance. Compatible with Crouse-Hinds Form 8 bodies, gaskets, and covers, this conduit body fits flush against flat surfaces for stable mounting. It carries a wiring capacity of 13 cubic inches per NEC 314.16(A) and meets UL 514A, UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18.3, and NEMA FB-1 standards. Measuring 6.63 inches in length and 2.91 inches in height, it serves as a pulling fitting, allows conduit bends, and provides access points for splicing and branch runs within conduit installations.
