Rated for use with liquidtight flexible metal conduit, this 3/4 inch connector offers an insulated throat to seal out oil, water, dust, dirt, and fumes. Its malleable iron body and steel cap are coated with zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder for elevated corrosion resistance. The connector's long ferrule has pronounced threads exceeding UL pull-out requirements by over four times, ensuring a secure hold. A polypropylene sealing ring with a locknut is included to maintain a tight seal and support a continuous metal-to-metal ground connection. With a compact design and small turning radius, the 90 degree angle simplifies installation in tight spaces. It is suitable for wet locations and complies with standards including UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18.3, and NEMA FB-1, and is rated for Class I, Division 2 environments.
