Rated for use with 10 AWG main conductors and 12 to 10 AWG tap wires, this YC-L series connector provides a reliable connection for wire tap applications. It features tin-plated copper construction for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. Reinforced ribs enhance pull-out strength, supporting a secure mechanical connection. The compact, C-shaped tap design allows for easy tap connections and simplifies installation with a 5/8 inch wire strip length. Compatible with Y46 HYPRESS tools using the PUADP-1 adapter and specific die sets, it meets UL 486A-486B standards for mechanical and electrical performance. Temperature rating is 194 degrees F, suitable for typical electrical environments requiring low resistance and strong conductivity.
