Copperfree aluminum construction ensures corrosion resistance while maintaining a lightweight profile. The 1/2S trade size fits a wide range of cable openings from 0.35 to 0.55 inches. It provides a watertight mechanical connection and grounding continuity for jacketed metal clad, MC/MC-HL, corrugated interlocked aluminum or steel armor, and continuously welded armor cables. Rated for hazardous locations with explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof certifications, the connector complies with Class I, Division 1 and 2 Groups A, B, C, D, and Class II and III requirements. The enclosure offers an IP66 rating and NEMA 4X protection against harsh environmental conditions. Features include independent sealing and armor clamping, a stainless steel grounding spring for true 360 degree grounding, and a compact, slim profile that reduces space requirements. It comes with epoxy sealing compound, a halogen-free bushing, nylon washers, and a Viton o-ring for enhanced sealing, plus an integral deluge proof seal for extreme offshore and onshore applications.
