Natural finish glass-filled polyester insulating blocks house the copperfree aluminum contacts for corrosion resistance. Rated for 60 amps and 600 volts AC at 50 to 400 Hz, with 250 volts DC capability, this receptacle supports 3 poles and 3 wires in a 3-phase configuration. Pressure wire terminals accommodate wire sizes from 6 to 2 AWG for building wire and 6 to 4 AWG for extra flexible wire. The grounding style is shell only, intended for reverse service applications such as generator connections. Certified to UL 1682, UL 1686, UL 50E, and CSA C22.2 No. 182.1 standards, the receptacle is UL Listed and CSA Certified. Its enclosure meets NEMA ratings 3, 3R, 4, and 4X, ensuring weatherproof performance, especially with the screw cap closed when not in use. Brass components with beryllium copper springs provide weatherproof spring door functionality.
