M20 brass cable gland connector features nickel plating and an elastomer seal for armored cables. It includes a unique compensating displacement system to reduce pressure on cables.
Nickel plated brass forms the body of this T3 series straight cable gland connector, designed for M20 trade size installations. It supports armored cables with inner conductor diameters from 0.26 to 0.55 inches and outer diameters between 0.49 and 0.82 inches. The connector includes an elastomer seal suitable for hazardous area use. Incorporating a compensating displacement seal (CDS) system, this gland reduces stress on soft bedded cables and maintains compatibility with restricted breathing equipment. Mechanical cable retention and earth continuity are achieved through armor termination. Its reversible armor cone and AnyWay universal clamping ring allow for easy cable disconnection without compromising enclosure protection. Certified to multiple standards including UL 2225, CSA C22.2 No. 174, ATEX, and IECEx, it meets requirements for Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 hazardous locations. The entry thread seal is not included.
