The 4920AN-55-602-628 from Adams Rite is a Heavy Duty Deadlatch (ANSI Size) with Flat Faceplate in Clear Anodized. The 4920AN-55-602-628 series Deadlatch offers precise traffic control and easy installation for wood or hollow metal doors prepared for hardware according to the specifications of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). A key-controlled bolt hold-back feature allows a door to free-swing part of the day and exit-only when the bolt is free to latch. This allows a "locked" entrance to be used as an exit by customers or visitors already in the building. For its operation turn key or operate handle to retract spring-loaded latchbolt. To hold bolt retracted, push it in and secure by reverse turn of key. It is easily interchangeable, without stile modification with any MS1850A or MS1850S Deadlock of same backset and faceplate shape. It also replaces 4520 and 4720 ANSI Deadlatches.
