The 7240-519-630-00 from Adams Rite is an Electric Strike 24VDC Fail Safe in Satin Stainless, 1-1/16". The 7240 series Electric Strike with 4-7/8" faceplates are specifically designed for cylindrical locksets with up to 5/8" latchbolt projection. It provides remote electrical control of door equipped with cylindrical (key-in-knob/lever) type locksets with up to 5/8" latchbolt projection. It functions in such a way that the electrical actuation unlocks strike jaw releasing the latchbolt so that the door can be opened without operating the latch itself. The Adams Rite 7240 series super compact mechanism fits smoothly into jamb sections as shallow as 1-21/32". It is a fire-rated device in fail-secure mode.
