The 7440M629 from Rite is a UltraLine strike for steel and wood jambs doors monitored in bright stainless. The 7440 Series with 4-7/8" faceplates are specifically designed deadlatches or cylindrical locksets 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection. It provides remote electrical control of any door equipped an 4500, 4700, 4900 (or similar) Deadlatch (key-in-knob/lever) type lockset functions such way that actuation unlocks jaw thus releasing so can be opened without operating latch itself. extremely compact mechanism very smoothly fits into jamb sections as shallow 1-1/16". direct upgrade 7140 strikes. opens electrically under 35 lbs. preload.
