Coax to Digital Video Converter Required Per Video Camera Requires NGC20 Power Supply. The Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ KBS-1 coax to digital video converter unit is used only with the VH30ANC and VH30CNC series 'NoCoax' video-intercom systems. The KBS-1 is used to convert the video data signal from the lobby entry camera coax to a digital signal to be sent to the 'NoCoax' video monitor(s). The KBS-1 gets its power from the NGC20 DC power supply. All KBS-1 connections are positive screw terminal type. Each lobby (or other camera) connected to the 'NoCoax' series video-intercom system, requires one (1) KBS-1 converter (and associated NGC20 power supply).
