The Comnet FVT801S1 is an 8-channel digitally encoded video transmitter designed for single-mode fiber optic transmission over one optical fiber. It uses 10-bit digital encoding to deliver high-quality video signals that exceed EIA RS-250C short-haul transmission standards.

Built for demanding environments, this unit supports rack or surface mounting and includes bi-color LED indicators for quick status checks. The ComFit housing allows for wall rack and DIN-rail mounting options with the appropriate accessory.
