The ComNet RLMC100X is a substation-rated and industrially hardened Ethernet media converter. Designed to the requirements of IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 Class 2, EN50155, NEMA TS-1/TS-2, it intended for deployment in environments where high levels electromagnetic noise interference (EMI) severe voltage transients surges are routinely encountered, such as electrical utility substations switchyards, heavy manufacturing facilities, trackside roadside electronic equipment, other difficult out-of-plant applications. 100BASE-FX port supports conventional optical transmission by fixed 2-fiber ST or SC connectors. User-selectable link fault passthrough provides remote indication network fault, summary alarm local via dry contact closure event loss operating power. 10/100BASE-TX both auto-negotiation automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover full half-duplex operation; manual switching not required.
