This 10/4C Solid MC Cable features solid copper conductors with individual color codes for brown, orange, yellow, gray, and green wires. The cable uses aluminum interlocking armored metal cladding for mechanical protection and durability.
It includes THHN insulation meeting UL 83 standards and flame resistance VW-1 rating. The bare ground wire is sized and insulated according to UL requirements. The cable assembly is round with cabled grounding wires and core protection tape.
Typical applications include branch, feeder, and service distribution in commercial, industrial, and multi-residential construction. It complies with NEC Articles 230.43, 300.22(C), 330, 396, 518, 520, 530, and 645. This cable is approved for installation in raceways and as open runs on a messenger or in exposed or concealed tray run spaces in environmental air as per Article 300.22(C).
