Rated for Class 1 Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D, and Class II and III hazardous locations, this conduit outlet box supports 3/4 inch threaded metal conduit connections. The copperfree aluminum body and cover resist corrosion and provide durability for indoor and outdoor applications. The box has an 18 cubic inch capacity and features pry notches on the cover to facilitate removal with a bar or wrench. Its internally threaded body mates with an externally threaded cover, sealed by standard O-rings to maintain a NEMA 3 and 4 raintight fit. Ground continuity is ensured via an internal ground screw and copperfree aluminum construction. The smooth rounded integral bushing protects conductor insulation during wire pulling and conduit runs can be connected or redirected using this fitting. Certified to UL File Number E10444 and CSA standards, the box meets requirements for Zone 1 and 2 IIA and IIB locations. It functions as a sealing fitting when paired with sealing covers and accommodates various cover and canopy types for flexible installation in classified areas.
