The cable features soft annealed, flexible stranded tinned copper conductors compliant with IEEE 1580 Table 11. It uses flame retardant cross-linked polyolefin insulation that meets UL 1309 and CSA C22.2 No. 245 standards. The color-coded conductors include black, white, red, and green, with sizes 1/0 and larger having a black jacket marked with phase ID.
The outer jacket is a black, arctic-grade thermosetting compound resistant to oil, abrasion, chemicals, sunlight, and extreme cold. Certifications include ABS, Transport Canada, DNV, Lloyd's Register, US Coast Guard, and CSA. High strand count conductors improve flexibility and reduce vibration compared to other cable types. It holds high ampacity ratings and meets flame retardant standard 60332-3 Category A.
