This 24 AWG computer cable features 12.5 twisted pairs with foil and braid shielding for reliable data transmission and signal integrity. The cable meets UL 2464 and NEC Type CMR standards, making it suitable for use in computer interconnections, control circuits, and industrial equipment control.
The conductor consists of fully annealed, stranded tinned copper per ASTM B-33. Each pair is insulated with premium-grade color-coded S-R PVC 1061. The 100% aluminum/polyester foil shield with a 25% overlap faces outward and includes a drain wire. The cable jacket is gray PVC rated for use from -20°C to +80°C and complies with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC. It is tested to pass the 70,000 BTU vertical tray flame test (CMH) and meets Article 800 UL 75°C 300V requirements.
