This 300 MCM XHHW building wire is sold by the foot with a minimum order of 10 feet and a maximum of 1000 feet. For longer lengths, please contact us directly. The wire comes in black and meets Type XHHW-2/RW90 standards, suitable for use in conduit, underground, or other recognized raceways.
The cable supports up to 600 volts and can be used in wet or dry locations at temperatures up to 90°C. It features stranded, uncoated bare copper conductors with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. The wire diameter is 18.93 mm with insulation thickness of 1.65 mm. Ampacity ratings are 240 amps at 60ºC, 285 amps at 75ºC, and 320 amps at 90ºC.
This product complies with UL-44, ASTM, Federal specifications, CSA C22.2 No. 38, NFPA 70 (NEC), IEEE 1202, and other recognized industry standards. It is sunlight resistant and rated for low-leakage circuits requiring a dielectric constant of 3.5 or less.
