This 4/3 Metal Clad (MC) Cable features three stranded copper conductors plus a #8 AWG ground wire, all protected by aluminum armor. It supports branch, feeder, and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential buildings.
The cable is rated for up to 600 volts and suitable for lighting, power, and control circuits. Its construction includes soft-drawn, bare copper conductors with lead-free THHN/THWN-2 insulation rated at 90°C dry. The assembly is wrapped with a Mylar binder tape and covered by an interlocked aluminum sheath.
Compliance covers ASTM B-3, B-8, B-787, UL 83, 1569, 1581 among others, and the cable meets NEC 300.22(C) requirements for environmental air handling spaces. It can be installed in concealed and exposed locations including fished behind plaster, under raised floors, and in approved raceways.
