The A-Designs Pacifica is a stereo, solid-state microphone preamplifier based on the Quad Eight Pacifica console.
It features two channels with a unique DI signal path using two transformers for added depth and tone. The unit includes custom wound Cinemag transformers designed by A-Designs. It offers an ultra-wide bandwidth of 9 Hz to 101 kHz with less than 1% distortion, providing rich harmonic content and reduced phase shifts. Each channel has a phase reversal switch, -20 dB pad, and 48V phantom power. The preamp includes a standard IEC power cord.
