The Alpha 3470C is a 28 AWG, 10-conductor communication and control cable with a foil and braid shield. It features stranded tinned copper conductors and semirigid PVC insulation. The cable’s shielding consists of an aluminum/polyester/aluminum layer with 25% minimum overlap facing outward, combined with a braid shield and a stranded drain wire matching conductor size.
This cable is rated for 300 volts and has a slate-colored jacket. It meets multiple industry standards including UL AWM 2464, VW-1, CL2, CSA CMG FT4, as well as CA Prop 65 and Reach compliance.
