Alpine Astronomical Baader 3.0 Neutral Density Filter (1.25")

The Alpine Astronomical Baader 3.0 Neutral Density Filter reduces light intake during lunar observation, enhancing view and contrast.

The lens is multi-coated with seven-layer optical coatings to maximize light transmission across the visual spectrum. It fits most 1.25" eyepieces and has female threads for stacking with other ND and colored filters. This filter has an optical density of 3.0, with 0.1% transmission and a reduction factor of 1000. It can also improve solar viewing when used as a secondary pre-filter with a dedicated solar filter.
