The Altronix EBRIDGE100RMT Ethernet over Coax/Cat5e Transceiver Adapter Kit supports 10/100 Mbps full-duplex data transmission over coaxial or CAT5e cable. It can extend network links up to 300 meters over coax or 500 meters over CAT5e cable. The kit includes both receiver and transceiver units and supports IEEE 802.3af PoE and 802.3at PoE+ standards to power connected devices.
These adapters are UL/cUL Listed to UL60950-1 and CE Approved. They allow for IP video and data transmission on existing coax cabling without repeaters. When combined with Altronix NetWay8M/16M Midspan power injectors, remote management features like device reset and monitoring real-time current draw are available.
