The Boss RE-202 Space Echo Effect is a reimagined tape-echo effect that updates the classic Roland RE-201. It recreates the sound and behavior of the original with expanded delay time, stereo reverb, saturation, and wow & flutter controls. The unit offers 4 memory slots, new and aged tape conditions, and selectable input modes. It includes a stereo reverb section with spring reverb type and hall, plate, room, and ambience options. Features include warp and twist effects with footswitch control, true stereo input and output, and expandable controls via external footswitches or MIDI.
