CAD D85 Cardioid Dynamic Snare Drum Microphone

The CAD D85 is a compact dynamic microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern designed to reduce unwanted noises from the sides and rear.

It features a custom-tailored frequency response optimized for mid to high-frequency instruments, rolling off the low end and gently attenuating the highs to reduce harshness. This mic is suitable for snare drums and woodwinds. The compact design allows easy positioning without obstruction, helping to prevent being struck when mounted on a drum and keeping it out of view during live performances. The sturdy metal construction ensures durability for live, touring, and studio use.
