The Celestron M42 Spacer Ring Kit is designed for use with astroimaging rigs. It adjusts the back-focus distance between the telescope and imaging rig.
The kit includes rings with thicknesses of 7.5mm, 12mm, and 30mm. These rings have standard male and female T-threads allowing them to be used individually or stacked in any combination. They can be attached to a camera-side T-ring and telescope-side T-adapter without needing converter rings. The rings are made of aluminum with a black anodized finish. The internal surfaces are blackened to reduce glare and improve image contrast.
