The Comnet CWGE24MOD/8TX is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch module designed for use with the Comnet CWGE24MODMS 3-slot managed chassis. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds over RJ-45 connectors and offers managed switch capabilities through web or SNMP interfaces.
Features include IGMP Snooping for multicast filtering, port-based VLAN (IEEE 802.1Q), Rapid Spanning Tree protocol (802.1W), bandwidth control, ACL, LACP, port mirroring, QoS, and SNMP management. The module relies on the chassis for power and does not provide PoE.
This switch module is suitable for installations requiring flexible Ethernet interface configurations with a compact modular form factor. The chassis housing is sold separately.
