The Comnet SFP-18A is a small form-factor pluggable module supporting data rates up to 1000 Mbps. It uses a single-mode fiber optic connection with LC connectors, featuring a 1310 nm transmit wavelength and a 1550 nm receive wavelength.

This module supports distances up to 60 kilometers and is compatible with Comnet managed and unmanaged switches as well as media converters. Its industrial rating allows operation in environments ranging from -40°C to +75°C.
