The Comtek ALS-216 delivers reliable wireless communication with 60 synthesized channels, omnidirectional lapel mic, and up to 35 hours of battery life for professional training environments.

Designed for clear and efficient wireless communication, the Comtek ALS-216 operates in the 216 to 217 MHz frequency range with synthesized channel selection across 60 channels. It supports both non-companded (5 kHz deviation) and companded (10 kHz deviation) modulation modes, ensuring versatile audio transmission. The system features a 0.03" (2.5 mm) Micro-Mini Mono microphone input and a 1/8" (3.5 mm) stereo mini input to accommodate different audio sources.

The lapel microphone offers an omnidirectional polar pattern with a frequency response from 80 Hz to 12 kHz, delivering clear sound quality. Audio output is optimized for low impedance headsets at 16 dBu. Powered by a 9 V alkaline battery, it provides up to 35 hours of operation, or 15 hours with a rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery. Compact and lightweight, the unit measures 1.16 x 2.50 x 3.25 inches and weighs only 4 ounces, making it easy to wear and transport.

Additional features include audio input gain control, modulation voice level indicator, and a power on/off switch. The system transmits at 10 mW RF power with out-of-band emissions better than 45 dB below carrier, minimizing interference and ensuring professional-grade communication.
